Sūrat al-Isrāʾ

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ صِلَةَ بْنَ زُفَرَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقُولُ يُجْمَعُ النَّاسُ فِي صَعِيدٍ وَلَا تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ فَأَوَّلُ مَدْعُوٍّ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ فَيَقُولُ «لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ وَالْمَهْدِيُّ مَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَبِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ وَلَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَى مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ» فَهَذَا قَوْلُهُ {عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا} [الإسراء 79]

✧ I heard Hudhayfah say: “People will be gathered on a plain, and no soul will speak. The first to be called will be Muhammad ﷺ. He will say: ‘Here I am, at Your service, and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not to You. The guided one is he whom You guide. I am Your servant and the son of Your servant, and by You and to You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. Blessed are You and Exalted.’ This is His saying: {Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a praised station} [al-Isra: 79].”
