أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبَا عُبَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَحِمَ اللهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالشَّكِّ مِنْهُ قَالَ {رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لِيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي} [البقرة 260] وَقَالَ «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ لُوطًا كَانَ يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ وَلَوْ لَبِثْتُ فِي السِّجْنِ مَا لَبِثَ يُوسُفَ ثُمَّ جَاءَنِي الدَّاعِي لَأَجَبْتُهُ»

✧ From the Messenger of God ﷺ, he said: May God have mercy on Ibrahim. We are more entitled to doubt than him, for he said: {My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead. He said: Do you not believe? He said: Yes, but to put my heart at rest} [al-Baqarah 260]. And he said: "May God have mercy on Lut; he used to seek refuge in a strong support. If I had remained in prison as long as Yusuf remained, then the caller came to me, I would have answered him."
