أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنِ ابْنِ غَرْقَدَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَقُولُ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا؟» قَالُوا يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ يَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ قَالَ «فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا لَا يَجْنِي جَانٍ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ عَلَى وَالِدِهِ أَلَا وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ أَيِسَ أَنْ يُعْبَدَ فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا أَبَدًا وَلَكِنْ سَيَكُونُ لَهُ طَاعَةٌ فِي بَعْضِ مَا تَحْتَقِرُونَ مِنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ فَيَرْضَى أَلَا وَإِنَّ كُلَّ رِبَا الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مَوْضُوعٌ لَكُمْ رُءُوسُ أَمْوَالِكُمْ لَا تَظْلِمُونَ وَلَا تُظْلَمُونَ أَلَا وَإِنَّ كُلَّ دَمٍ مِنْ دِمَاءِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مَوْضُوعٌ وَأَوَّلُ مَا أَضَعُ مِنْهَا دَمُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ» كَانَ مُسْتَرْضَعًا فِي بَنِي لَيْثٍ فَقَتَلَتْهُ هُذَيْلٌ «أَلَا يَا أُمَّتَاهُ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage say: "O people," three times, "What day is this?" They said, "The Day of Sacrifice, the Day of the Great Hajj." He said, "Then your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours. Indeed, no criminal commits a crime against his child, and no child against his parent. Indeed, Satan has despaired of ever being worshipped in this land of yours, but he will have obedience in some of what you regard as insignificant of your deeds, and he will be content. Indeed, every usury of the pre-Islamic era is abolished. You have your capital; you do not wrong and you are not wronged. Indeed, every blood of the pre-Islamic era is abolished, and the first of them I abolish is the blood of al-Harith b. 'Abd al-Muttalib," who had been nursed among Banu Layth and was killed by Hudhayl. "O my nation, have I conveyed?" three times. They said, "Yes." He said, "O God, bear witness."
