أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَطًّا وَخَطَّ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْخَطِّ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ خُطَطًا ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَذَا صِرَاطُ اللهِ مُسْتَقِيمًا وَهَذِهِ السُّبُلُ عَلَى كُلِّ سَبِيلٍ مِنْهَا شَيْطَانٌ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا} [الأنعام 153]

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew a line and drew lines to its right and left. Then he said, "This is the straight path of Allah, and these are different paths. On each of these paths, there is a devil inviting towards it." Then he recited, "And indeed, this is My straight path" [Surah Al-An'am 153].
