أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ {لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ} [البقرة 225] قَالَتْ نَزَلَتْ فِي قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لَا وَاللهِ بَلَى وَاللهِ
Translation

✧ From ʿĀʾishah regarding His saying {Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths} [al-Baqarah 225]. She said: It was revealed concerning a man’s saying “No, by Allah” and “Yes, by Allah.”
