✧ They wanted to give some charity to their polytheist relatives, so they asked, and he gave them permission, or he gave them something. Then this verse was revealed: {It is not upon you to guide them, but Allah guides whom He wills. Whatever good you spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the face of Allah. Whatever good you spend will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged} [al-Baqarah: 272].
