أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
كَانَتِ الْيَهُودُ تَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ دُبُرِهَا فِي قُبُلِهَا إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ يَكُونُ أَحْوَلَ فَنَزَلَتْ {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ} [البقرة 223]

✧ The Jews used to say about a man who comes to his wife from her rear into her front: the child will be cross-eyed. So it was revealed: {Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish} [al-Baqarah: 223].
