أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ قَالَ
نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْمُتْعَةِ يَعْنِي مُتْعَةَ الْحَجِّ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ وَأَمَرَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ تَنْزِلْ آيَةٌ تَنْسَخُ آيَةَ مُتْعَةِ الْحَجِّ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ

✧ The verse of tamattu', meaning the tamattu' of Hajj, was revealed in the Book of Allah, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded it. No verse was revealed to abrogate the verse of the tamattu' of Hajj, nor did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit it until he died. A man said by his own opinion whatever he wished.
