أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ دَرَّاجًا أَبَا السَّمْحِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ مُوسَى يَا رَبِّ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَذْكُرُكَ بِهِ وَأَدْعُوكَ بِهِ قَالَ يَا مُوسَى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مُوسَى يَا رَبِّ كُلُّ عِبَادِكَ يَقُولُ هَذَا قَالَ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ إِنَّمَا أُرِيدُ شَيْئًا تَخُصُّنِي بِهِ قَالَ يَا مُوسَى لَوْ أَنَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعَ وَعَامِرَهُنَّ غَيْرِي وَالْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعَ فِي كَفَّةٍ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فِي كَفَّةٍ مَالَتْ بِهِنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “Musa said: ‘O Lord, teach me something by which I may remember You and supplicate You.’ He said: ‘O Musa, say: There is no god but Allah.’ Musa said: ‘O Lord, all Your servants say this.’ He said: ‘Say: There is no god but Allah.’ He said: ‘There is no god but You; I only want something special to me.’ He said: ‘O Musa, if the seven heavens and their inhabitants other than Me, and the seven earths, were in one pan of a scale, and “There is no god but Allah” in the other, “There is no god but Allah” would outweigh them.’”
