أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلَّمَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَيَقُولُ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ دَارَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِنَّا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مُتَوَاعِدُونَ غَدًا وَمُوَكَّلُونَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَهْلِ بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ»

✧ Whenever it was her night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would go out at the end of the night to al-Baqi' and say: “Peace be upon you, abode of a believing people. We and you are promised tomorrow and entrusted. Indeed, if Allah wills, we shall join you. O Allah, forgive the people of Baqi' al-Gharqad.”
