أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي خَالَفَهُ يُونُسُ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ

Translation

  6. ʿĀʾishah

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "None of you should say: 'My soul has become corrupted,' but let him say: 'My soul is disinclined.'" Yunus and Ishaq b. Rashid differed from him.
