أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَمَرَّةً سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ الْمَرِيضَ جَلَسَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ «أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمَ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي أَجَلِهِ تَأْخِيرٌ عُوفِيَ مِنْ وَجَعِهِ ذَلِكَ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would sit at his head and then say seven times: "I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you. If his appointed time is delayed, he will be cured of that pain."
