أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ أَحَدًا وَقَالَ عَبْدَةُ مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought protection for someone – and ‘Abdah said: for a sick person – he would say: “Remove the hardship, Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness.”
