أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَهُو ابْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا مَعْشَرَ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ بَعْدَ هُدُوِّ الرِّجْلِ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ دَوَابَّ يَبُثُّهُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَنْ سَمِعَ نُبَاحَ كَلْبٍ أَوْ نُهَاقَ حِمَارٍ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَرَيْنَ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O assembly of the people of Islam, reduce going out after the stillness of the night, for Allah has creatures that He disperses in the earth. Whoever hears the barking of a dog or the braying of a donkey, let him seek refuge in Allah from Satan, for they see what you do not see."
