أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ» وَقَالَ «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللهِ وَالْحُلُمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ حُلُمًا يَخَافُهُ فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يَضُرَّهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The good dream is one part of forty-six parts of prophethood.” And he said: “The good dream is from Allah, and the bad dream is from Satan. So if one of you has a bad dream which he fears, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from its evil, for it will not harm him.”
