أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللهِ وَالْحُلُمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْحُلُمَ يَكْرَهُهُ فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنْهُ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A righteous dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So if one of you dreams a dream that he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from it, and it will never harm him."
