✧ What Allah Chose for His Angels

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجِسْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَا نَقُولُ فِي سِجُودِنَا؟ قَالَ مَا اصْطَفَى اللهُ لِمَلَائِكَتِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ رَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ

✧ I asked the Prophet ﷺ what we should say in our prostration. He said: What Allah chose for His angels: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi. Hammad b. Salamah narrated it from al-Jurayri from Abu Abd Allah from Abdullah b. al-Samit from Abu Dharr.
