✧ The reward of whoever says before sleeping: There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Able to do all things, there is no power or strength except in Allah.

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَابَاهْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بَابَاهْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ §مَنْ قَالَ
عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ لَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ قَالَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

✧ At the time of his sleeping: “There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Able to do all things. There is no power or strength except in Allah. Glory be to Allah and with His praise. There is no god but Allah, and Allah is Most Great” his sins will be forgiven, even if they were more than the foam of the sea. In the hadith of Shu'bah it does not include: “at the time of his sleeping.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said this.
