أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَلْيَنْزِعْ دَاخِلَةَ إِزَارِهِ فَلْيَنْفُضْ بِهَا فِرَاشَهُ ثُمَّ لِيَتَوَسَّدْ يَمِينَهُ فَيَقُولُ بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ اللهُمَّ إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَهَا فَارْحَمْهَا وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ 10561 أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ وَقَفَهُ ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ 10562 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْلَهُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “When one of you retires to his bed, let him take off the inside of his lower garment and dust off his bed with it, then let him place his right hand under his cheek and say: In Your name, my Lord, I lay my side down, and by You I raise it. O Allah, if You hold it, then have mercy on it; and if You release it, then guard it with what You guard Your righteous servants.” 10561 Ziyad b. Yahya informed us, he said: al-Mu'tamir b. Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Ubayd Allah from Sa'id b. Abi Sa'id from Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said something similar. Ibn Mubarak stopped it. 10562 Muhammad b. Hatim informed us, he said: Suwayd informed us, he said: Abdullah informed us from 'Ubayd Allah from Sa'id from Abu Hurairah, his statement.
