أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ وَرَجُلٍ آخَرَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ تَوَسَّدَ يَمِينَهُ وَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ قِنَا عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَجْمَعُ عِبَادَكَ» وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ «يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he wanted to sleep, would rest on his right side and say: 'O Allah, protect us from Your punishment on the Day You gather Your servants.' The other said: 'on the Day You resurrect Your servants.'
