أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ جِبْرِيلُ إِذْ سَمِعَ نَقِيضًا فَوْقَهُ فَرَفَعَ جِبْرِيلُ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ هَذَا بَابٌ قَدْ فُتِحَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَا فُتِحَ قَطُّ قَالَ فَنَزَلَ مِنْهُ مَلَكٌ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَبْشِرْ بِنُورَيْنِ قَدْ أُوتِيتَهُمَا لَمْ يُؤْتَهُمَا نَبِيٌّ قَبْلَكَ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ وَخَوَاتِيمَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْهُمَا إِلَّا أُعْطِيتَهُ

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting with Jibril, he heard a creaking sound above him. Jibril raised his eyes to the sky and said: "This is a gate that has been opened in heaven today, which has never been opened before." Then an angel descended from it and came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "Rejoice in two lights that you have been given and no prophet before you was given: the Opening of the Book and the closing verses of Surat al-Baqarah. You will not recite a letter from them except that you will be given it."
