أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هَارُونَ بْنِ أَبِي عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُتْبَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يُوشِكُ النَّاسُ أَنْ يَتَسَاءَلُوا بَيْنَهُمْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ قَائِلُهُمْ هَذَا اللهُ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ فَمَنْ خَلَقَ اللهُ؟ فَإِذَا قَالُوا ذَلِكَ فَقُولُوا {اللهُ أَحَدٌ اللهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا} [الإخلاص 2] أَحَدٌ ثُمَّ لِيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو ثُمَّ لِيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “People will soon ask one another questions until one of them says: ‘This is Allah—He created creation, so who created Allah?’ When they say that, say: ‘{Say: He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent} [al-Ikhlas 1–4],’ then let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from Satan.” 'Amr said: “Then let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge from Satan.”
