أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَوْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
لَمَّا كَانَ يَومُ بَدْرٍ قَاتَلْتُ شَيْئًا مِنْ قِتَالٍ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْظُرُ مَا صَنَعَ فَجِئْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ سَاجِدٌ يَقُولُ «يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ» ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ إِلَى الْقِتَالِ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ سَاجِدٌ لَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ ذَهَبْتُ إِلَى الْقِتَالِ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ سَاجِدٌ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ فَفَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ When it was the day of Badr, I fought a bit, then I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to see what he was doing. I came and found him prostrating, saying, "O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining." Then I returned to the fighting, then I came again and found him prostrating, not adding anything to that. Then I went back to the fighting, then I came and found him prostrating, saying that. Then Allah granted him victory.
