أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ آخِرَ كَلَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ حِينَ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ «حَسْبِيَ اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ» قَالَ وَقَالَ نَبِيُّكُمْ ﷺ مَثَلَهَا {الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا} [آل عمران 173] اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

✧ The last words of Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire were, 'Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.' He said: And your Prophet ﷺ said the same: {Those to whom people said, 'Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.' But it increased them in faith, and they said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah}' [Al 'Imran 173], and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
