أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ وَأَبِيهِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَا لَقِيتُ مِنْ عَقْرَبٍ لَدَغَتْنِي الْبَارِحَةَ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرُّكَ

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'What I encountered from a scorpion that stung me last night!' He said: 'Indeed, if you had said when you reached the evening: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created," it would not have harmed you.'
