أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَعَا سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمْنَحَكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَسْأَلُهُنَّ الرَّحْمَنَ وَتَرْغَبُ إِلَيْهِ فِيهِنَّ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ تَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِحَّةً فِي إِيمَانٍ وَإِيمَانًا فِي خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ وَنَجَاحًا يَتْبَعُهُ فَلَاحٌ وَرَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةً وَمَغْفِرَةً مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Salman al-Khayr and said: “The Prophet of Allah wishes to grant you words by which you ask the Most Merciful and turn to Him with them during the night and day. Say: ‘O Allah, I ask You for soundness in faith, faith in good character, success followed by prosperity, mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and good pleasure.’”
