أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَنْزِلُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهِ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed Allah, Blessed and Exalted, descends every night to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there anyone asking, so that I may give him? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"
