أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ صُبَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ هَبَطَ اللهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَلَا يَزَالُ بِهَا حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ يَقُولُ قَائِلٌ أَلَا مِنْ دَاعٍ فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ أَلَا مِنْ مَرِيضٍ يَسْتَشْفِي فَيُشْفَى أَلَا مِنْ مُذْنِبٍ يَسْتَغْفِرُ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the first third of the night has passed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and remains there until the dawn rises, saying: 'Is there any supplicant that he may be answered? Is there any sick person seeking healing that he may be healed? Is there any sinner seeking forgiveness that he may be forgiven?'"
