أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ يَنْزِلُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يَسْتَغْفِرُ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ يُتَابُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَنْشَقَّ الْفَجْرُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there any asker that he may be given? Is there any seeker of forgiveness who seeks forgiveness? Is there any repentant that his repentance may be accepted?' until the dawn breaks."
