أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ الْأَغَرَّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُوبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ فَإِنِّي أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ»

✧ I heard al-Agharr – and he was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ – on the authority of Ibn ʿUmar, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Repent to your Lord, for I repent to Him a hundred times a day.”
