أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِيمَا يَحْكِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ أَذْنَبَ عَبْدٌ ذَنْبًا فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي قَالَ يَقُولُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا عَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَأَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي قَالَ يَقُولُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا عَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ قَالَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَأَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أُرَاهُ قَالَ أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا عَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكَ

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, relating from his Lord, Blessed and Exalted, He said: A servant committed a sin and said, “O Allah, forgive me.” Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: “My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sin.” Then he returned and committed a sin and said, “O Allah, forgive me.” He, Blessed and Exalted, says: “My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sin and punishes for sin.” Then he returned and committed a sin and said, “O Allah, forgive me.” Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said — I think he said: “My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sin and punishes for sin. Do whatever you wish, for I have forgiven you.”
