أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فِي الْأُولَى مِنْهُمَا الْآيَةَ الَّتِي فِي الْبَقَرَةِ {قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا} [البقرة 136] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ وَفِي الْأُخْرَى {آمَنَّا بِاللهِ وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 52]

✧ He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two units of Fajr, in the first of them, the ayah in al-Baqarah: {Say, "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us"} [al-Baqarah: 136] to the end of the ayah, and in the other: {We have believed in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims} [Aal Imran: 52].
