✧ What does he say when he sits in a gathering where his chatter is excessive?

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ مِنْ مَجْلِسٍ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ «سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ» وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ نَحْوَهُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. There is no deity except You," when he would rise from a gathering, and he would direct the conversation towards it.
