✧ What to say when you come to a group and sit with them

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لَمْ يَقْعُدْ إِلَّا مِقْدَارَ مَا يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الْجِلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ»

Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the salam in prayer, he would not sit except for as long as it takes to say, "O Allah, You are Peace and from You is peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor."
