أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ عَنْ ثَوْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمَ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى فَإِنَّ تَسْلِيمَهُمْ بِالْأَكُفِّ وَالرُّؤوسِ وَالْإِشَارَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not greet with the greeting of the Jews and Christians, for their greeting is with the hands, heads, and gestures.”
