✧ Greetings of the Knight

أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ فَضَالَّةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يُسَلِّمُ الْفَارِسُ عَلَى الْمَاشِي وَعَلَى الْقَائِمِ وَيُسَلِّمُ الْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ»

Translation

  4. ʿAmr b. Mālik
  5. Faḍāllah b. ʿUbayd

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The rider greets the walker and the one standing, and the few greet the many."
