أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَهْبَ بْنَ كَيْسَانَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ غُلَامًا فِي حِجْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَتْ يَدِي تَطِيشُ فِي الصَّحْفَةِ فَقَالَ لِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا غُلَامُ سَمِّ اللهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ»

✧ I heard Umar b. Abi Salamah say, "I was a boy under the care of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and my hand was wandering around the dish. The Prophet ﷺ said to me, 'O boy, pronounce the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you.'"
