قَالَ مُسْلِمٌ وَحُدِّثْتُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَسَّانَ وَيُونُسَ الْمُؤَدِّبِ و غَيْرِهِمَا قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَهَضَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ اسْتَفْتَحَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ { الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} وَلَمْ يَسْكُتْ

Abu Huraira reported that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up for the second rak'ah he opened it with the recitation of the praise of Allah, the Lord of universe (al-Fatiha), and he did not observe silence (before the recitation of al-Fatiha).
