Sahih Muslim 1835d
The obligation of obeying leaders in matters that do not involve sin, but it is forbidden to obey them in sinful matters
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ سَوَاءً
Translation
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters.
