The farewell Tawaf is obligatory, but it is waived in the case of menstruating women
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ قَدْ حَاضَتْ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ
Translation
Abd al-Rahman b. al Qasim narrated on the authority of 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that she made a mention to Messenger of Allah ﷺ that Safiyyah had entered the period of menses. The rest of the hadith is the same.
