Mishkat al-Masabih 5387

Section 1

وَعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: أَشْرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُطُمٍ مِنْ آطَامِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ: " هَلْ تَرَوْنَ مَا أَرَى؟ قَالُوا: لَا. قَالَ: «فَإِنِّي لأرى الْفِتَن خلال بُيُوتكُمْ كوقع الْمَطَر». مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ

Translation

Usama b. Zaid told that the Prophet looked down on one of the fortresses of Medina and asked, "Do you see what I see?" When his hearers replied that they did not, he said, "I see civil commotions occurring among your houses like rain falling." (Bukhari and Muslim.)
