Sahih Muslim 251b

The virtue of isbaghil-wudu' (performing wudu' properly) during times when it is difficult to do so

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ جَمِيعًا عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ

Translation

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of ʿAli b. ʿAbd al-Rahman with the same chain of transmitters and there is no mention of the word of al-Ribat in the hadith transmitted by Shuʿba and in the hadith narrated by Malik "Ribat" has been mentioned twice. This is the "Ribat" for you, this is the "Ribat" for you.
