✧ The Prophet ﷺ mentioned something and said: 'And that is at the time of the departure of knowledge.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how can knowledge depart while we recite the Qur'an and teach it to our children, and our children will teach it to their children until the Day of Resurrection?!' He said: 'May your mother lose you, O Ibn Umm Labid! I considered you one of the most understanding men of Madinah. Do not these Jews and Christians recite the Torah and the Gospel, yet they do not benefit from anything in them?'
