حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ، الْمِرَاءُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كُفْرٌ، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ. فَمَا عَرَفْتُمْ مِنْهُ فَاعْمَلُوا، وَمَا جَهِلْتُمْ مِنْهُ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى عَالِمِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Anas b. ʿIyāḍ
  2. Abū Ḥāzim
  3. Abū Salamah Lā Aʿlamuh Illā
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The Qur'an was revealed in seven ahruf. Disputation about the Qur'an is disbelief—three times. So whatever you know of it, act upon it, and whatever you are ignorant of, refer it to its knower.
