✧ The Two Eid Prayers

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:

التَّكْبِيرُ فِي الْفِطْرِ تَكْبِيرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ تُفْتَتَحُ بِهَا الصَّلَاةُ، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ خَمْسًا، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ فَيَرْكَعُ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُكَبِّرُ خَمْسًا، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ فَيَرْكَعُ

Translation

✧ the takbir in Eid al-Fitr is one takbir with which the prayer is opened, then he says takbir five times, then he recites, then he says takbir and bows, then he stands and says takbir five times, then he recites, then he says takbir and bows
