✧ The ruling on one who abandons prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ:

فِيمَنْ يَقُولُ: الصَّلَاةُ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَا أُصَلِّيهَا: يُضْرَبُ عُنُقُهُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا، - وَأَشَارَ إِسْحَاقُ إِلَى قَفَاهُ - لَيْسَ بَيْنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ فِيهِ خِلَافٌ

Translation

✧ Regarding one who says: 'The prayer is from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and I will not pray it': his neck is struck from here—and Ishaq pointed to the back of his neck—there is no disagreement among the imams about it.
