✧ The encouragement to perform two prostrations after every prayer

قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ:

إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَلَّا تُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةً إِلَّا سَجَدْتَ بَعْدَهَا سَجْدَتَيْنِ فَافْعَلْ

Translation

✧ If you are able not to pray any prayer except that you prostrate after it two prostrations, then do so.
