✧ Regarding the takbir

- قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ ثُوَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ:
أَوَّلُ مَنْ نَقَصَ التَّكْبِيرَ: الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: نَقَصُوهَا نَقَصَهُمُ اللهُ، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا رَكَعَ، وَكُلَّمَا سَجَدَ، وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ
Translation

✧ The first person to reduce the takbir was al-Walid b. Uqbah, so Abdullah said: 'They reduced it, may God reduce them. I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ say the takbir every time he bowed, every time he prostrated, and every time he raised his head.'
