✧ Three things the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do, which the people have abandoned: when he stood for prayer, he raised his hands fully; and he used to pause before the recitation for a little while, asking Allah of His bounty; and he used to say the takbir whenever he lowered and raised. Bundar said in his hadith: 'Three things he used to do, which the people have abandoned: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he stood for prayer, raised his hands fully; and he used to pause before the recitation for a little while, saying: I ask Allah of His bounty; and he used to say the takbir whenever he bowed and placed [his hands].'
