✧ Qunut in the morning prayer was mentioned to Abu Mijlaz, and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man to the tribe of so-and-so and said: "Look, if they give permission, then pass them by to the tribe of so-and-so." When he came to them asking them, a man entered, donned his armor—meaning his weapon—then went out to the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and stabbed him, throwing him down. The messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, I am the messenger of Your Messenger: convey my greetings to him." He said: The Prophet ﷺ said: "And peace be upon you all." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, we did not see anyone!" He ﷺ said: "So-and-so was killed, and he sent me greetings." Then he stood with them for a month at the end of the dawn prayer, saying: "O Allah, take the Banu 'Usayyah: they disobeyed their Lord, and take the Banu Dhakwan." He said: Then he abandoned it, and there was nothing besides that.'
